Work with CECET
Professional development is a key strand of CECET’s vision and aims. Quality training and support will be provided to ensure teaching is never less than good.
The implementation of a Professional Development Framework and Entitlement for all staff, in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton, will also include a 'Growing Church School Leaders for the Future' programme. Our ambition is to provide and support a professional body of the highest quality.
Working closely with schools and the University of Wolverhampton we aim to provide a career pathway for all staff. The pathway will identify how staff can actively engage in their own professional development as well as have access to further opportunities. There is so much talent in our schools, we need to share and exploit this good practice so all school and individuals benefit. CECET will also nurture future middle leaders and senior leaders creating a secure succession plan across our region.
Using our network of partners we will look to provide regional networks for key areas of focus providing access to strategic development and a head start on how this is implemented in schools effectively.
CECET recognises that leaders and staff are key agents of change and will work collaboratively to secure the best possible outcomes for pupils, staff, parents and the community.
CECET will actively promote and support the development of thriving learning communities and work relentlessly to enrich and enhance parental engagement, strengthening the role of school within the community and parish.
